It's time for my yearly post ...

 

When will the Perfidious Plover Protectorate pronounce the plovers properly fledged and re-open the closed sections of the beach?   It's almost time!

It’s one dead ocean right now.  Some blues and a banded rudder fish on metal.  Not one hit on the whiting rods.  Zero.

Steve I'll be heading down too in a couple days to donate my blood to the mosquitoes and flies. Nothing biting but heck its better than being city bound.

Yep fished for a little while Sat, nada.

 

Steve, i think i posted in the Fishing reports thread as soon as i saw it on the NPS FB page.  It was last tues 8/7 for your records.

 

Things look about the same down there as they did the spring.... guess no major storms or strong winds so far summer to move things around.
