unclemikenj
Hey Dan... Quick questions... Would you recommend these for sand beaches for bass? Do they perform different from your bullet head forward balance bucktails? If yes for bass can / should the hooks be upsized? Last are you pouring these in any larger sizes (2 oz / 3 oz)? Thanks Mike
Dan Tinman
Hi They would work for bass from the beach. The original idea was for fluke. Compared to bullet heads I’d be inclined to avoid rocky situations with them. Bullet heads are less likely to snag and can often be finessed out. Going up on the hook size is a good idea if intended for stripers. I’ll have to look into that. So far I haven’t had a call for larger sizes but would make them if some one wanted them. Hope this helps. Dan -
