Depending on your tackle, 3oz T-Hex has a potential for 350ft+ with an OTG Uni-Tech Cast, an Ava47 425ft+ with the same cast, both using 30lb PP with a 65lbPP shock leader. Those are my "gimp" measured numbers on a field, but I have seen over 500ft with the same Ava when the Uni-Tech cast is aerialized.

I normally fish both with a teaser rigged of a dropper loop 4.5 ft ahead of the metal.  My teasers of choice are a sparse Clouser Minnow with 1/4 eyes, a 115mm Rascal Red Gill and a 6inch or longer 6 feather Flatwing Fly.

Although I have not had the opportunity to cast them on a field, to me it seems that the HR Tackle short Stingsliver outcasts the T-Hex.  These are available in 2,3 and 6oz, the latter of which I have never owned.
