I’m in the market for a rod to pair up with a Tranx 400 AHG for heavy current/ weight (10 oz and higher). Options include standard conventional rod versus an acid wrapped one. Open to suggestions.

Trying to stay under $200.

I hate fluking.

Then y the **** would you dredge up and respond to a post about fluking from 6 months ago?    And you got poor Y all perplexed about 10 oz.  Apparently he’s not fished Nantucket Shoals for fluke.

Anyone interested in doing a Nantucket shoals fluke trip this coming season? Eric Morrow just bought a party boat and Jeff Viamari should still be doing it.

There is no glory in catching fluke.
