As far as size comparison to Abu's, what are we looking at? Why would you compare the 60 to? I'm super interested in these...

they are the size of a 400 series casting reel or a 6500 series abu.

for 50 bucks man,you get a super value for sure.

when you hold it in your hands ,you can feel it's a solid piece.

Just received an early birthday gift from the missus today. Cant wait to try it out, seems VERY well built. Also crazy eye catching.

Do the reels have bearings in the levelwinds...

But interesting enough is that the gear side of the worm has a brass bushing. The other end has the typical plastic bushing. With this setup, I might convert the plastic bushing to either another bushing or a bearing. I've done this before:howdy:

How is width of the levelwind?  Any different than Abu?  Thinking about a shock leader knot screaming through there

The guide on the line carriage is the same with as any Abu or the like.

Here's what I'm thinking, I am so impressed with this reel that I'm thinking of getting a 50 size and turning it into a CT, without the level wind. I don't know if there is a Foran bar the width of a 50 size, or I could use the worm cover and bolt it though. This might be another small project to pass the winter by with:howdy:
