I am also currently a new resident of Medford near the Mystic. Went out in June on my Kayak near the dam and got a couple small schoolies on topwater but nothing over 22''. Would love to divide and conquer next spring run... or fall run (do they work their way back in near the dam in the fall?!) if we can share info!

Thanks,

Evan

I'v been having luck by the dam still. Mid 20s fish, but not in the last 5 days- taking a quick breather but going back out again here end of the week.

Lots of medford guys on here lol

I struck out in the Mystic Sunday/yesterday... Tried incoming on Sunday and outgoing into sunset last night. Threw everything from bucktails, sp minnows, poppers, etc. Live bait (or tube/worm) was about the only method I didn't try...

I’m working on Alford st bridge over the Mystic

almost every morning I see bass on bait, birds, commorants etc.

guy in red paddle kayak does well trolling 2 rods with small red spinner tubes.

double headers.

Saturday construction workers on big work skiff were chasing fish.

think I’ve seen some shad too

still plenty of fish in mystic but shore access not good from what Incan see near the bridge

also we got big crane barge that is blocking boat access in the channel until next April

small boats can sneak in at low water

Hit up the *a fishing pier last night and this morning at 5:30.  Not even a sniff with an SP Minnow and a popper.  Going to try a few different plugs next time.
