Dthfrmabove
Found the very elusive cauliflower mushroom “ egg noodles of the woods “ the other day. Cut them up and put them in a venison stew with wild cranberries I picked that day. FizzyFish, west tide and MickAff
Vt coast
Cool, nice looking shrooms, and in good shape. They are delicious. I've got to check the spot where I found them last year. MickAff
bob_G
My wife picked these this morning. I'm almost certain my grandparents picked these when I was a kid. Highly prized. I'd like to try them, but I'm not sure? The Sultan of Sluggo

dan_d
foraging for mushrooms is one of the most dangerous tasks on the culinary side you can take....I would be very careful and as baccia states if not sure have an expert confirm what it is or risk kidney/liver/death on a gamble....that said the mushrooms shown look great esp the morels.... Tallahams
If you are not sure don't eat them. All mushrooms can be eaten, but some only once.

ribeye
Purchased a maitake spore plug kit to Inoculate a couple of oak limbs. Any advise is appreciated . First time. Getting too lazy to forage. Thanks. There is a difference between interest and commitment. When you are interested in something you do it only when it is convenient.
