But I could be wrong. Either way it’s a nice fish, congratz to angler. Catching a halibut is at the top of my bucket list. I’ll take another shot this June in so cal surf. Tight lines! · #12 Posted May 16, 2018 · Report post Not familiar with spot burns and rules and previous posts regarding this but while it does mention a spot.. that spot is a pretty long river. Like saying you cought that striper in south county? How large of an area does the spot have to cover to be burnt.. could it not be a spot anywhere along the river? Just makes me wonder.
