Justin781
I was fishing a local pond the other day (I'm in mass) and there were a bunch of largemouth bass and bluegill splashing around in shallow water by the bank. The bass weren't chasing the bluegill or anything, they were kind of just swimming around near the surface together. I tried tossing a few rapalas and grubs by them, but they couldn't care less about it. It seemed like they weren't interested in eating at all. Considering that it was a pretty warm day (low 80's), I want to say that these fish were spawning, but then again, I don't think I've ever seen fish other than carp actively spawn before. To those who are familiar with spawning fish, am I just bad, or were these fish too busy f*****g to care about eating?
