Help! Penn Fierce Live Liner Assembly

2 posts in this topic

Hello, really hoping someone can help me.  I own the Penn Fierce 2 6000 Live Liner and I popped it open today just to apply some grease to the internal gears and after repeated attempts to put it back together, it still won't function properly.  Something is jamming inside, the reel won't turn.  I did not remove any of the internal parts when working on it, I simply unscrewed the main face plate to apply grease.  Whats the secret to getting it back on properly so the reel will turn?

Thanks in advance for any help and I apologize if this has already been covered elsewhere.  Please just point me in the right direction if so.

Solved the problem.  There is a tooth (pictured in the red circle below) that needs to be seated behind a pin when you place the cover back on for the reel to spin properly.

Carry on.
