The best DL in football just got a whole lot better. I’m sure Eagle fans could care less about things that’ll never affect them.

They did. Tried to swoop in and steal him from the Eagles. The deal was supposedly made on Monday. Pats countered and the deal was paused until This afternoon. That’s what I read on Bleacher Report

6.2 million reasons why. They owe him nothing, and no dead cap space by cutting him. And he's talked about retiring. Coming off an injury with his lack of production in GB even when Rogers was healthy made cutting him a no brainer.

 

Still could come back for less money as a free agent.
