I purchased 10 pieces of  3.5 ounce Kaast Master type lure with hooks and split rings for 35 bucks

Hi guys..

Old thread i know..but how's everyone's feedback on these spoons after use? want to pull the trigger on some of these as loosing Kastmasters are heavy on the wallet haha. any info appreciated greatly..

I'm the OP and I've been using these for 4 years now. They do catch stripers and they don' break your wallet when you lose one. They work with a bare treble hook, but I like to add some chartreuse/white bucktail for additional action.

I've also used a rattle can and blue tape to add orange, red and mint colored stripes to the fakemaster blanks.  Sharpies can add color too and it is a bit see through.  I hit them with a quick clear coat after painting/coloring.  Good winter projects :)
