Drow6475
Currently Having a new lami gsb 9'4 " made up . This will be my go to rod on a majority of spots that I target . It will be dunked a.d will be swam in a few spots. Originally was thinking of used vs 150 for the set up. Now tossing around the idea of a used vs 200. Thoughts on size of real to rod ratio appreciated .
redfin
Big difference in weight so I would pick the one that "feel" best to you. I'm not a big fan of used. Be careful there.
Fergal
When I lived in NJ my main jetty stick was a 9' 8308 and a vs200. It did everything that I wanted. A 150 wouldn't have worked for what I was doing. ASMFC - Destroying public resources and fisheries one stock at a time since 1942.

jesgord
John Skinner uses a VS 200 on his cut down 9’ GSB 120-1-L
IFeelfishy
All I can say is that last year I got a 10 foot Avid with a VS200... I don't hate the reel (i love it), I just wish I got the VS150. The 200 is heavier and yes, you will notice the difference. Yes, the 200 holds more line, but when will you ever use that much line anyways. In the end it's you call. Whichever you get you will enjoy it!
