· #1 Posted February 4, 2018 (edited) Not a Nielsen household but my parents are. I plan on watching it on their tv. ( They aren't there) any knee hits the ground during our national anthem, I'm done. Shut off the box and go home. · #3 Posted February 4, 2018 Save the drama, turn it off now and go home. Pro sports are for *******. 0 Go to top
· #4 Posted February 4, 2018 Don't even turn the game on, and if there is a comment section let them know you are boycotting NFl because of the take a knee crap. You make a statement that way, not by being one of the tens of millions of sets tuned to the big game. 0 Go to top
· #5 Posted February 4, 2018 Myself, and millions of others, will be watching. I don't care if you take a knee or not. Maybe you can watch The Apprentice reruns instead? 0 Go to top
· #6 Posted February 4, 2018 If they do take a knee (I doubt any patriots will), will Trump conduct another brazen attack on free speech. 0 Go to top
· #7 Posted February 4, 2018 Just now, The Dude said: If they do take a knee (I doubt any patriots will), will Trump conduct another brazen attack on free speech. Can you protest, or make your political or social opinions known at work? 0 Go to top
· #8 Posted February 4, 2018 Not sure what that has to do with my post. 0 Go to top

I have not watched a single game, also convinced a few other people to do the same thing. 0 Go to top
· #10 Posted February 4, 2018 6 mins ago, The Dude said: Not sure what that has to do with my post. The players are protesting at work, their job. Does your boss let you do that? Mine doesn't...No MAGA gear. No Forward shirts. No Obama hats...nothing. Am I denied my free speech? The NFL players chased off a good portion of their audience because they had a message they wanted to get out. It hit the owners and advertisers in the pocketbook. Would your boss gladly take the hit if I walked into a Boston area BurgerKing, and you are there with your Hillary shirt on, and I walked out? Will that pain filter down to the players? Today might tell. 0 Go to top
· #11 Posted February 4, 2018 I was talking about Trump’s brazen attack on free speech when he called for members of a private organization to be fired over free speech actions conducted in a private setting. 0 Go to top
· #12 Posted February 4, 2018 Free speech goes both ways. Trump can exercise free speech as well. They made a public statement in a public setting for everyone to watch. They opened that can of worms. 0 Go to top
· #13 Posted February 4, 2018 It is against the NFL rules but they let it go. Put a little police or military support icon on the shoes and they enforce that. Fines etc. The bias is clear if youve been paying attention. 0 Go to top
· #14 Posted February 4, 2018 Haven't watched a game all year and will not watch the Super Bowl. IMO, there are much better ways to bring attention to a matter that is probably very close to home for a majority of NFL players and most Professional athletes in the US. I have read that a few of the Eagles players have started a foundation that is looking into the problems between the police and the black urban ghetto dwellers, and their unfair treatment and what can be done, by both parties to improve relations. I have more respect for these members of the Eagles then any of these mutts who kneel during our National Anthem, to protest something they are doing nothing "REAL" about. 0 Go to top
· #15 Posted February 4, 2018 (edited) I posted this thought before and someone argued these players are intelligent and could do it.. Put the kneelers in a room, no phone, no help. Have them write down why they are kneeling. Let them know it's going to be published. If they can do it, they can kneel. I'll bet 95% would say forget it. They dont want the world to see their ignorance and lack of ability to justify their actions. Edited February 4, 2018 by Buckscorider 0 Go to top
