My son graduated college about 15 years ago and is a wildlife biologist working for the Connecticut DEEP. His main job is doing a research study on the New England Cottontail rabbit. He does a lot of other things also involving wildlife. He posted these pictures on Facebook and I thought I would share.

And while in college and for a short time after he worked on a boat until he got a full time job as a wildlife biologist

Here kitty, kitty!

A few years ago he showed me a video of that bobcat or a different one. The noises it made as he released it were unreal. He's trapping rabbits to put tracking collars on them. Rabbits aren't the only things he catches as seen there. Gets many skunks.

The state checks the heads for various diseases that effect the deer and to see if diseases like cronic wasting disease has come into Connecticut yet. One of the deer heads was rabid and he had to undergo the shots as a precautionary measure.
