It's hard to tell from the picture but the body shape is about the same.  What I can't see is where the hook eye is placed, center of the head or forward.  Also what's the weight and body diameter?

It was my understanding that the head was 3 or 4 ounces but it this is the right head then it's also a long shank.  I suppose jigheads will never go to waste if I'm wrong though.  What are your preferred payment methods?

The one thing I can see for sure is that it's a long shank hook.  My 4 oz only comes with a long shank.  The 3 oz will take either a short or long shank hook.  Preferred payment method is PayPal but I'll also accept checks, money orders and credit cards.

Hi Dan,

On the shad heads short shank heads. What is height at the end where the head meets the plastic on the one ounce and half ounce?  I'm trying to match it up with something.

Thank you.

Hi RR

Interesting question.  No one ever asked it before.  Here's the answer.

1/2 oz = just over 1/2".  Actual measurement is .55.

     1 oz = 3/4" almost exactly.

     Hope this helps.

Ok... Then can I get 8 of the 1\2 ounce short shank shad heads?
