Got my Daiwa Ballistic LT 2500D last night. I took some side by side pictures next to my Ballistic 2000 EX. Very similar sized.

(The EX has the line on it.)

I just ordered a tatula lt 2000 hoping it was a bit smaller than my 2500 bg.

It will be, the 2500BG is a little bigger than a 3k Tatula.

Does the EX have seals on the handle, spool shaft, and line roller? Does it also use the aluinum drive gear?

I know the EX does NOT have seals on the roller, has “mag seal” on the shaft, and does have some sort of handle seal. Can’t remember about the gear.

Im sure Scooby can answer that.

I have had 2 EXs since they came out, and am very happy with them. Loved the 2000 size, so am glad the 2500 is basically the same size as the old 2000 with more capacity and drag.

I was at KTP and they had the Ballistic, Tatula, and Fuego. I was surprised to see the 100$ Feugo was mag sealed and had the rubber seals on the handle, and spool shaft just like the Ballistic. I coudlnt tell if the line roller has one as well. I with they had used those rubber seals in the Tatula..
