Trump and the Alt right mouthpieces railed against "them"

but now Bannon is booted from Breitbart because of the establishment GOP.....

is the alt right movement nothing more than the useful idiots GOP leadership needs to get the votes they need to pass tax cuts for the uber wealthy?

the tea party was clearly a sham.....

and it was mildly amusing,

I enjoyed having right wingers who supported the movement try to justify how the tea party was endorsing candidates with no clear selection process,

and how over night they were able to put on massive events at venues and provide large speaking fees.

and again, no transparency in who was being booked to speak and receive the large sums of cash.

but I was a bit shocked to see that an establishment Republican was evidently able to snap his fingers and have Bannon booted from Breitbart,

that's clearly not how they like to present themselves.

Rebekah Mercer should just run for office herself and put the puppets back in the toy box

The Koch brothers were very bullish on tricorne hats.

it's shtick that I can't believe most right wingers haven't seen thru,

Water Carriers like Hannity insist they are NOT Republicans, they are Conservatives.

and so many people believe it and parrot the lie.

and never once look at the stings on the puppet, or question who is making him dance.

Yep, these are the same guys who rant about "sheeple". Yet when the puppet masters wag the dog they eagerly follow.

You are right, it happens on both side, so where is the story here? It is just the way it is in politics. Don't have to like it, but it would seem we all have to get used to it.

"both sides do it" is the lamest excuse for Republican behavior......

especially when it's an issue that the Dems aren't as guilty of.

That is just your opinion lol. Not as guilty of? I guess you have stats for this statement? It's not an excuse, and most people know it is true. I don't make excuses for either side, just that they both do it, you admit  it.   The "We do it, but the other side does it more" claim is really below you, I know you are better than that, or at one time on this board were better then that.

based on reality.... yes.

in this instance Republicans are far more guilty of this behavior than Democrats.

Pretending NOT to belong to a party but to be a firm believer of an ideology,

and joining astro turf reform movements is a right wing phenomenon.

you can pretend it isn't

I can't stop you.

but McCain and Palin were Mavericks.

then the Tea Party reformed the party,

then the freedom caucus,

then Hannity and other Republican water carriers announced they aren't Republicans but Conservatives,

then Trump waged war with the Republican Establishment,

and it's still the same guys at the top pulling the strings and making the puppets dance.
