My son and I are heading over to Race Point and the backside the 21st -23rd hoping that the timing is good. Ain’t what it used to be but there are still times. The fall run is the fall run. Can’t miss all that.Just the amount of life alone is worth the trip. The canal is what it is but that beach is a wild place indeed and sometimes a fish of a lifetime can be caught right at your feet

The best part is you could walk for miles and not see another fisherman:)

And an endless supply of small bonito......they fight great on light tackle.

Have you been catching lots of eggers??

Its “that time of year”... last week we had over 30 in 5 pots and 25 were eggers.

ps - don’t forget to add a notch to any un-notched egger before you throw it back ...:)
