DACA for The Wall?

Will there be a compromise here?  Are the DEMS willing to sell out the dreamers because they don't want to support The Wall?

Would the Repubs accept DACA in exchange for Wall funding?  Who will blink first?

I hope not... I want to see these people deported.

No deal.

If the only choices were:

1. a wall and keeping daca

2. no wall and no daca

I'd choose #2

I'm hoping they don't do a deal and that they let the pieces fall where they may.

That’s silly

but if Trump only understands deals. Ok let’s talk about a deal

Support for a Wall means first and foremost  it is funded not by US taxpayers

and in exchange Trump will dramatically alter how he conducts business in the actions in the Whitehouse and POTUS and adhered to certain ethical standard

1 all family members will be removed from official positions and security clearance taken away

2 Trump will sever all business contacts. All assets will be liquidated

3 All Presudential business and retreats will be Conducted on government premises.

4 all tax returns for the last 20 years will be released

then maybe we can talk about a wall

And then in typical Dem fashion you would reneg on the deal.

Go ahead and hang your hat on illegals at the expense of Americans................see where it gets you.

The beauty of this is that the former president pretty much adhered to these types of standards

but somehow you’ve all given the Orange Messiah a bye on ethics

These are your demands?

Or we can have it the other way, no wall and no DACA. I'm cool with this option. This way NO one wins, there are only losers. 800k less votes for Ds

Kind of indirectly.  U.S. will withhold economic aid - last figure I saw was 320 mill per year.

The money we give them is mostly in surplus military gear that is supposed to help the government in their own drug war.

There are places in Mexico, like the Sierra Madre, where the Army doesn't go in less then company strength.

Like I said - indirectly.  Probably more to it with trade tariffs and other fees.  Kind of holding Mexico hostage to get them to help fund it.

You don't compromise with a party that just wants to screw it up even more.  "Yeah, OK, I agree to let you screw it up half as much as you want."

Let them pound sand.  Nothing you give them now will stop them from doing just what they did last time they could get away with it.  It'll be Obamacare 2-10 no matter what you give them.
