Bergallmaster
After the past few days of very sporadic rats on the western south shore and a huge blow today I decided to start looking at the western north shore/east river area. I've never fished these areas but I have a few spots scoped out. Does the east river/western North shore hold fish this late in the season or should I stick with the rat race. Not looking for spot burn just don't wanna waste time spitting in the wind. the human race has proved darwins theory of evolution wrong. we let the dumb survive. valleygoog
It's hit or miss now, either way. NS gives you the rat race for the Hudson fish, SS for the Chesapeake run. Some bycatch (and my keepers, I let the breeders go) was available on the NS, but that's mostly done too. Wind and vehicular traffic is what pushes me about. Some of the howling wind on the SS had me picking away at the rats on the NS, so it was something, but the NS doesn't have the big schools that were around on the SS or the birds/whales marking the bait massacres. Bergallmaster
I did ns today. Only got one bass but it was bigger than the micros I've been getting on the south shore. the human race has proved darwins theory of evolution wrong. we let the dumb survive.
