fishweewee
Do people no longer have any shame? http://www.tmz.com/2017/12/04/liangelo-ball-lavar-ball-leaves-ucla-basketball/ LAVAR BALL REMOVES LIANGELO FROM UCLA 12/4/2017 12:01 PM PST It's a stunning move ... LiAngelo Ball will no longer be on the UCLA basketball team and, in fact, he will not be a student at UCLA ... because his father, LaVar Ball, is removing him from the institution ... TMZ Sports has learned. As you know, LiAngelo was indefinitely suspended from the team after he stole from several stores during a trip to China. LiAngelo was placed on house arrest but was sprung after Trump and others went to bat for him. We're told LaVar believes the suspension was unfair, especially since the charges were dropped. LaVar's people tell TMZ Sports the famous dad thinks, "There's no need to break down a kid's spirit for making a mistake." Our sources say LiAngelo is not officially withdrawn from the school but he's at home and will not return to UCLA. LiAngelo was a freshman and never actually played a game for the team. A family spokesperson added LiAngelo and Lavar appreciate UCLA for everything ... despite the circumstances that led to the suspension. Story developing ... Aquacide
good. those young men needed a lesson. I get that you don't want to see your kid in a foreign jail, but they very obviously are on the wrong life path. its not like they took a candy bar - it was designer sunglasses from some fancy stores. I would have thought top schools have moral turpitude clauses for scholarship kids. they should do. a couple of years working under the golden arches would be beneficial I think to those young gentlemen. Markushook
You do realize the old man pulled his kid out of the school because HE FEELS HIS KID IS BEING UNJUSTLY TREATED!! The school didn’t DISMISS these ****heads, as they should have, they suspended them.
Riverboat33
He can play for Kentucky , he'll fit right in. The biggest fish in the river gets that way by never being caught. Edward Bloom

Maine Guide
Pretty sad that an 18 year old can't see that his old man is a complete MORON and jeopardizing his ability to get a first rate education for free, regardless of whether or not he plays ball this year or next. *

They might have told him informally that he wasn’t going to see any playing time. But the school would have taken some heat if they just kicked him off the team

dena
I agree with pulling the kid out of school, even if it was for the wrong reasons. Hopefully, there were a bunch of lessons learned by a bunch of people, from Trump, on down to the kids. I doubt the old man will ever learn, he seems to know it all already. Jay Dog
The Old man will probably see if the kid can play in Europe for a year or 2 and then hit the NBA draft, too bad Pitino isn't at Louisville anymore he would have scoffed him up
