seems like it is very legally complicated, hence the controversy.   I will defer to constitutional scholars on this one, but right now, can find about a 50/50 on their opinions.   Most likely won't be able to pin obstruction of justice.

what do you think?

"(The) President cannot obstruct justice because he is the chief law enforcement officer under (the Constitution's Article II."

This assertion is the most colossally  ignorant, alarmingly preposterous statement. of presidential absolution I have ever read or heard.

Any president may obstruct justice.

That they are  president is not a shield that precludes them from doing so.

and the sun will not be rising tomorrow morning... Donald Trump said so.

So... despite what you see happening in the sky, oh, at about 6:45am EST... it is totally not happening.

Colossally ignorant indeed.

I think counsel greatly regrets having made that idea public.  CNN's people are having a lot of fun with it, predictably.  I'll have to see what Fox says later tonight. No doubt Hannity will have Dershowitz as a guest ASAP to discuss it; I will listen with interest if I find it.

Who, besides you, said the president cannot obstruct justice?

Braden is "Banned PG" - it was not selective enforcement, but a sort of 'glitch'...that I just fixed :)

Dowd, Trumps Lawyer......for now lol.

Dowd told Axios: "(The) President cannot obstruct justice because he is the chief law enforcement officer under (the Constitution's Article II) and has every right to express his view of any case."
