ZAFisher
I've been using MTB "paste greases" designed for wet and coastal ride situations. Specific brand is Morgan Blue aquaproof paste is product name. I used White Lightning Crystal in the past, was good, can't seem to get it locally anymore so tried the Morgan Blue Aquaproof Paste as an alternative. So far so good, seems very similar and no shouting clients..... Will look for aquashield.
scoobydoo
I like corrosion x..stays put nicely and is very clingy. I used yamalube for that purpose as well....between packing handle entry points and ar switches......I never had a problem with either. Cfinnely68
I just use valvoline wheel bearing grease.
HKJonathan
Just be careful. Some grease has additives like Teflon or lithium which may react with the seals on some reels.

DrBob
I use OMC wheel bearing grease. Made for submersion and saltwater. WILL NOT swell rubber seals. Be careful, many greases will interact with rubber seals and soften/swell them.

HKJonathan
One thing to think about is the viscosity of the grease, especially if you are planning to pack the reel. When the weather is cold, it might make the reel very difficult to crank. I learnt this by packing my VS with a marine wheel bearing grease and leaving the reel outdoors when the temperature plunged to below freezing overnight.
