Lets talk turkey

So I think me and the wife have tried them all. Organic, heritage(bronze, frozen) , fresh killed-that one was interesting, putting a warm turkey into the oven. We're still not big fans of Turkey. I was trying to convince her to go for the turducken but she replied, "if I don't like turkey and I really don't like duck why would I like the 2 together". So now we're stuck at a crossroads of what to do. Anyone got some good suggestions before I chicken out. Get it, chicken out. :dismay:

Brining and a good butter herb rub yield pretty good results. Moist and flavorful throughout.

This,  you need to brine and add flavors in the brine, butter rub under the skin, oil on top of the skin with seasoning, you will then love turkey.

Wife is not a fan of deep fried turkey. Got an idea tonight. I made duck tonight and kept the fat. Maybe I should mix the fat with herbs. Tuck it under the skin when my wife is not looking then bag it up. She'll like it if she does not know its there
