Nov, 9th Striper trip

1 post in this topic

I got out last night to fish the to the top of the incoming for some Striped Bass. The winds finally laid down for a bit and was a nice night to fish. Water temps were back down to 55 and the water was pretty clean. I picked up a couple fish in the 20" range, but that was about it. There were tons of Micro's breaking the surface all night in the 12" range, not sure what they were feeding on. I was marking some nicer fish on the bottom as well, about 25' down but they just wouldn't take anything I tossed at them. Planning on either back bay or heading out front on Sun, looks like conditions will be very good. I'm really leaning on taking a trip out front and trolling around.
