if you have / see seals around - i’d guess seal.


especially of you are drift fishing (?).  Seals know what boats are and that most boats bring in the fish.  why not sneak around the boat and wait for the fish to come to you ?

Try casting lighters ones and retrieving them at the same level the fish were feeding :) Sluggo or Fin-s-Fish on light ball jigs. Something that stays in the zone they are feeding it. They are tougher to catch at 25 feet in 65 feet of water than they would be if they were near the bottom :)
