Same for me John I kept trying all season and caught over 300 bass in the harbor this season.... my largest 34 inches. Most fish were on live mackerel with the rest on lures. Surprisingly my biggest were mostly lure fish. Those big bass have eluded me all season maybe next week. If no love by next weekend the boat is getting yanked and I’m gonna focus on venison.

I know a bar that if I throw worms by ill pull a schoolie within 2 mins every cast, I'm gonna throw chunks there and see if even the respectable size.....schoolies at least close to legal will be more apt to eat a chunk.......I'm so tired of all the trout size bass I'm getting!

No 50 but I just pulled a 29" fish on a pencil in about a foot of water......he was smacking it the whole way in and finally I stuck him when the plug was about to be lifted out of the water!
