BrianBM
I see it too, makorider, but there's nothing to reveal. Maybe I need a Bigger Button, I dunno.
Eagles Dare
A goose would be a much bigger collision than a drone. If cheap plastic is going to bring down a helicopter it's got issues. I'll have mine on the rocks.
BrianBM
Maybe. Organic material at speed will deform on impact, metal, ceramics and plastics may not. If the helicopter pilot finds the drone operator and strangles him, I'd be very sympathetic to the pilot.

seadogface
Depending on the speeds involved of course.... sweetheart

lichum
Sooner or later it had to happen. What worries me is a collision that causes an airliner to crash. Edited October 6, 2017 by lichum "Who is John Galt?" Who? You?

Have you ever seen a drone? When I cast into the Cape Cod Canal, should I be worried about sinking a cruise ship? I'll have mine on the rocks. Software limits them to 400' altitude and also locks out areas around airports and other no fly zones. If one was to hit an airliner it would have to be hacked first. And I doubt the jet would even know they'd collided. Drone sure would though. I'll have mine on the rocks.
Adam-_888
The word drone scares people . It's a Chinese made quadcopter.

Last place your really want to lose an engine is right after takeoff or just before landing. Low altitude and low airspeed with an engine out......................bad things happen.
