As usual, I'm taking a vacation day and going fishing tomorrow after watching the Patsies demolish Tampa.

I should be at the Back River ramp by 7:30AM - all alone, everyone I know can't make it.

Just look for the 30 year old red GMC pickup towing the black and gold 22 foot wooden boat with a dragon head on the bow.

Last Tuesday at Hull Gut at 5PM at mid outgoing tide, I anchored off the Peddocks pier, and all by my lonesome I baited two poles with a half mack and one live lined.

Within 15 minutes I had boated two 30 inch stripers and a 26 on the live mack.

Fall is my favorite time to fish the gut.

I'll be back there on the AM outgoing tide tomorrow morning with some helpers.
