viper2788
I've been hitting up the Potomac River specifically to hook a giant catfish on my kayak lately and I finally got em! I found bonito at my local international market and I knew it was gonna be money. Just 3 pounds shy of my PB blue catfish, but def PB "kayak fish" lol

willf650
Nice fish. I just got my PB catfish this past weekend and you beat me by a long shot. Love the fact you let him go. Smaller fish to eat are easy to come by. Trophies on the other hand are a different story, Nice job.

Beastly Backlash
Awesome fish! That had to be one heck of a fight on the kayak. I am still working on fishing for cats from my kayak, I think drifting is going to be the best approach. Was that how you caught the blue?

Find a deep part of the river with a nice slow current. Generally, I try to keep my bait 1-3 ft off the bottom. Good luck!

It definitly takes some thought on readjusting your approach.
