Good! Good! But remember the adage that faces make photographs. In that regard, baseball and soccer are better to photograph than football.

Really, this IS good.

The claim here is this was taken in Denmark and the car owner didn’t start his car for a month until the eggs hatched :squid:

looks a lot like a mourning dove, which is a rare vagrant in europe. :dismay:

I think this is my best action shot from my second HS football game last night.

.

I was on my HS photo staff way back in the day. Bad lighting, slow lenses, Tri-X pushed to 800 or 1600 ASA. Something like this would be a miracle photo.

Nice work!

Thanks. This was shot with a Nikon D500 (@ iso 3200) and an antique (bought 3/2005) Nikon AFs 70-200 VR(1) @ 75mm, f/2.8, 1/320.

I shot film way back too (Canon AE1 bought in Korea in '77) and did do some pushing too, but didn't really know what I was doing. :)

Not really it's nice to be compared to his work however . It is ice formed over snow over boulders under a dam in minus 13-degree weather. I do regret not having a few sheets of B&W film my 4x5.

I didn't know you worked with a 4x5.  I used to work with one too, but that was decades ago.

I think I last shot around 2007 or 2008 mostly using up a lot of medium format film . I know I still have one or two roll film backs for the old Linhoff , I do miss having a field camera to play around with though,
