With big surf on its way I was just wondering what everybody's "go to" plug is in big water. 

GL.... I spoke with the head striper last night and she said that they will be retreating to deeper water off shore til the storm passes

Loaded northbars.... ( I'll carry other things as well, but these are a staple and often the first thing out of my bag in big surf, where I fish)  ...

The bottom pic is something I've been developing too (based off a big Hahn #9l . Been a long work in progress but big water was defintlly something considered as I've made them

Strong wind in your face and its buck tails, needles, pencils or a tin. List gets pretty short. 

 

Wind at your back, different story. 

 

Drifting ( if you can get a clean one) out of an inlet of breacheay, different story.

+1 only addition would be a heavy swim shad 3-5 oz, small profile to cut through
