Cabo PTs 50 Bail Assembly Removal

Hi, can anyone here tell me how to take off the bail assembly?  I dropped my rod and reel taking the hook out of a striper and the bail doesn't open all the way or close with the handle.

I rinsed it out, shot it it with WD 40 and then used the hot sauce. I think taking it off and cleaning an lubing it will get it right again.

Thanks for your help.

Greg

The bail is more than likely bent now. Remove the screw on the line roller side and bend the bail wire until it perfectly lines up to put the screw in.

if you need to take it off completely remove the one screw on the line roller side and then remove the clip on the other side. They put a nice flat side on the clip to make it easy to remove and install.

Handi2, thanks for your response.  I see the clips but since

I'm not handy,  what do you use to remove the clips? Thanks again.
