Being polite doesn't provide immunity from being f'ed over by the cops just so you know.

Never met anyone in my whole life that was set up by a cop. Ever. No one.

Speaking of assumptions; at no point in that video do you actually see a cop planting drugs in the car. All you see is one cop squatting, getting up, then another cop going in and finding the drugs. In my opinion assumptions were made that squatting cop #1 planted drugs for squatting cop #2 to find them. That's a pretty big assumption.

If that was all that happened, you're right. That would be idiotic.

But when you look at what else happened - the cops searching the car and finding nothing, turning off their cameras, and then turning them back on just in time to see one of them "find" a stash of drugs - it looks rather suspicious.

Suspicious doesn't prove anything. Again with assumptions. Very hard to prove without actually seeing the plant. Innocent until proven guilty works both ways.

And that's that.

Never had a problem with a cop that I wasn't the cause of. And I'm a ****ing hippie

Cool. And I'm sure this applies to everyone else as well, right? Can't charge the woman since there's no video proving that she placed the drugs there either?

Police state...lol

Iph said that, not me. I just played along. ;)

Look, the point is, that yes, 99% of the police dealings are good and legit. Even Seal admits and applauds this, he has a number of times, but folks tend to ignore his statements to that effect.

But even if there is only .01% of the time that law enforcement does something shady or downright illegal (and it is certainly much more than that, but am giving the benefit of the doubt) , it NEEDS to be exposed and made public so people become aware. If it goes ignored or brushed under the rug, it only encourages more such behavior, and the frequency and extent of the abuse of power expands. If people believe they can get away with things, they are more apt to take that chance.

And when bad cops do bad things and the "brotherhood" protects them by supporting them or by just looking the other way even though they know a wrong has been committed, they themselves now become "bad cops" to a degree. And the cycle perpetuates until yes, we have a police state.

So Seal is not some crazed cop hater, he is in fact performing a public service by disseminating information on these situations that many time otherwise would go unnoticed or ignored. And those of you that automatically put him down and blindly support the LEO's just because "Seal posted it" are doing everyone a great disservice.

You need to be clubbed

Oh, looks who's back. You get confronted with the sobering truth and you're immediate response is a violent slur.

You don't belong on the force. Sorry, but you don't have what it takes.
