Kousa Dogwood Berries

My dogwood is producing a lot of berries right now. I know they are edible. Preserves, jam can be made from them. Anyone make a turnover or any type of pastry from them. Thanks in advance.

I never made anything from them because it seemed like a lot of work, due to their size.  I always wanted to try using them to infuse alcohol.  My buddy just used his sous vide cooker to infuse about a pound of bing cherries with a bottle of bourbon.  He removed the stems and split the cherries and then put them in a ziploc bag with the bourbon and put in the sous vide for about 3 hours on low (150) heat.  It was really delicious.  I think the kousa berries would be good for this because they are small and difficult to get the meat out of, but still flavorful.  My aunt has a gigantic kousa in her backyard, so I should have her save me some.
