Imran Awan Case Needs Special Counsel

PJ Media

BY ROGER L SIMON JULY 26, 2017

To the embarrassment, more accurately the humiliation, of Deborah Wasserman Schultz, Nancy Pelosi, not to mention dozens of Democratic congressmen and women for all of whom used Imran Awan for help with their government computers -- the Pakistani-born IT specialist was arrested Tuesday by the FBI at Dulles Airport for alleged bank fraud. He was trying to flee the country for Qatar.  (Yes, that Qatar!)

At best, Awan is a fraudster who, working with his family, bilked the U.S. taxpayers out of over four million in IT fees and overpriced computer equipment.  At worst he's an agent of Pakistan's ISI in league with Al Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood, or even ISIS. There are other possibilities in between that are also of a frightening nature, including (although more remote) the mysterious death of Seth Rich.

To take the worst first, for those who do not know the ISI, if you Google "Which intelligence service is the best in the world?" Pakistan's ISI is number one, followed by India's RAW, Israel's Mossad, the CIA, and MI6.  Russia's FSB doesn't make the cut. More on the ISI:

After fall of the Soviet Union, the ISI provided strategic support and intelligence to the Afghan Taliban against the Northern Alliance during the civil war in Afghanistan of the 1990s. [2] During more recent times, however, it has come under increasing criticism from both civilian and military circles for not having kept terrorist forces in society in check, especially against harbouring terrorists and acts against military forces, particularly those in neighbouring India. Recent political commentators and journalists, including Seymour Hersh, have noticed how dreaded terrorists like Osama Bin Laden had taken refuge close to military headquarters in Abottabad, Pakistan, and how it would be "impossible for the ISI not to know".

For years, Imran Awan had access to the secret data and correspondence of many House committees, including foreign affairs. What did he do with it?  As I said, that's the worst case scenario (I guess).  But I don't want to bury my own lede in a welter of ledes, so here it is:

Jeff Sessions should immediately appoint a special counsel in this case whose tentacles are so vast they reach the highest levels of our government.  The FBI, working unsupervised, has already been tainted by its heavily-criticized investigation of Hillary Clinton's emails, an investigation that actually may turn out to be related to this one.  It cannot be trusted to do this by themselves. We need a special counsel.  END

Anybody object the call for a Special Counsel

How easy these Democrat powerhouses are sleeping with the enemy.  No security background checks. No over watch tailers to see what he does and where he ends up.

No internal double and triple reviews for forign Nationals working in the heart of the government.

How dumb is that???

Ahhh, another clip and paste from an overexcited web site.

Debbie WS is not in a position to influence his prosecution. If the Awads have anything good on the Democrats, as I'm sure the conspiracy enthusiasts are desperately hoping, they'll be in a very good position to sell it for leniency on conviction for bank fraud.

The need for a special prosecutor is a need by Republicans to discredit the DoJ, and hopefully Mueller, by pretending that Democrats own it and will subvert it. No, that's not the case. And if the Awads burn some democrats .... fine.  They'll have it coming.

P.S. You left out the tunnels. The connection to Seth Rich is non-existent, to this point, but no matter. A really good conspiracy theory needs tunnels.

I dont know about all the connections made in that article but It's either a stunning case of irresponsibility to hire a Pakistani family ....which is odd...and give them complete access to data to sell or, something very corrupt was happening.

If its true that there are smashed hard drives in walls that could potentially be full of emails on virtually anything, that's a huge breach of national security.

And still the MSM finds nothing in this story to report on!

Just searched Google News for "Imran Awan" and find just one watered down item from 7/26 in WaPo.  Anything else is in conservative media.

It is worth noting that the MSM is not even covering this as a conservative conspiracy theory, as some here would like to think it is.

Why the news embargo?

Didnt watch the Stephan Molyneaux video did you?  I still havent made it through the whole thing, but if you guys would pay attention to this story, there would be little lib chubbies all over town.

There are people involved here going back to (ready, ready)   GEORGE BUSH!!!!!  These Awans were kicking up to guys involved with the beginning of the Iraq invasion.   There's stuff here for you too see?

Lets change topics and just explore the newest venture, Debbie Wasserman Shultz Realty Partners.  The Awan/Shultz cabal has THREE properties for sale in the beautiful and growing northern Virginia suburbs

And pizza.  You need tunnels AND suspicious triangular shapes, like pizza but clearly imbued with darker meanings, for a good conspiracy. ;)

Here's a thought.  If we tear up the basements, will we find some of the bodies of the people the Clintons were murdering in Arkansas?  Maybe they're buried there.  No?  Prove they're not.

Shame on you, you forgot to mention, servers, server cleaning cloths, server bleach, specious birth certificates, college records, and my particular favorite, an unaccounted 6 billion from the State Department.

For a really good conspiracy, you need stuff like "an unlikely to win political novice colluding with a Russian Dictator to steal an election from a highly qualified political lifer who was beloved by millions of Americans".   Now, that's a conspiracy!!!

So far, not that we know of.

Looks like the Democrats kept these folks all to themselves, like Obamacare, they own all of this, all by themselves.

If a Republican was involved, it would be splashed on every front page in the country.

I think the Democrats involved were just lazy, and trusted the wrong folks, or maybe I give them too much credit...I hope the Democrats in Congress were not knowingly funneling secrets to the Muslims.

That would make anything Trump did with Russia pale in comparison.

That doesnt explain lots of things.  They were paying 4 people in this guy's family 160 gs a year.  Having to write more checks is not lazy.  Its more work.

Once one guy was in, and had the goods, and started the blackmail scheme, writing checks was a must.

Or, you can wind up like our man Seth.

At the very least, the dems are writing this guy millions in "payroll" and taking a kickback.
