It's a Trap

I don't want to derail the thread where it was suggested that Obamacare was a "Trap"....

IMHO Trump has created a MASSIVE trap for himself.

He didn't think he would win,

I'm not sure he WANTED to win,

but he did.....

Since he didn't think he would win (IMHO) he made a LOT of promises about what he would and could do, knowing in his heart he wouldn't have to deliver,

and now he's POTUS and he's unable and unwilling to deliver.

on things like,

not playing golf, releasing his tax returns, divesting himself of his business interests.

these were just empty promises he didn't think he'd have to follow up on.

then there was all the EASY solutions to complex problems he claimed he had plans to fix.

he had no plan,

just grandious promises.

He was certain he'd be able to sit back in his office and tweet about how HE SHOULD HAVE been elected,

and how much better things would be if he was in office.

well he is in office.

so now it's up to him to deliver on all the impossible dreams....

and maybe play less golf,

and put OUR needs ahead of his personal profits.

He is right about Trump looking like a fool with all the promises that he can't keep.

But he is looking tremendously Presidential.  More Presidential than all other Presidents combined, except of course, for maybe President Lincoln.  But he has so much Presidential, it's spilling out of his eyes, his ears, his wherever.

Is there a question here?

that's VERY important.... when a lefty starts a thread.

do you need a question in order to participate in a conversation,

I laid out some opinions,

feel free to agree or disagree with them.

other people can do the same,

maybe comment on YOUR posts....

you know... talk.... like adults.

FWIW being critical of Trump shouldn't be dismissed as a troll.

that's the PG equivalent of calling bad news fake.

it's just a way of avoiding something.

because he is doing an awful lot of things I don't approve of.

but being critical of the President isn't trolling.

rather than insulting and derailing try participating,

do YOU believe he had the plans he claimed he did when running?

if you do, when will he reveal them.

if not, why do you think he made such grandious promises?

do you think I might be right... that he didn't think he would win, and therefore he was safe in making wild ass promises?

Obama said if you like your Doctor you can keep your doctor,

and the right has repeated it for years......

shall we list the promises Trump made about HIS health care plan?

one that he doesn't even have?

I hope you guys hold him accountable like you did Obama and that Doctor thing.

Cry me a river with your offence! Insulting, Really?

Plans change. Trump can't write it, vote on it, approve it and then sign it into law! You do know this, right. I don't think, HE, EVER had a plan for healthcare. I believe he believed that THE SENATE and HOUSE had a plan. Turns out they didn't. He fell on the sword after the 1st House bill failed and since then he has said F them, in true NY fashion, loud and in public. What we are seeing, as we all knew, is these **** can't be shamed into anything. NONE of them have our best interest at hand.

Yes, I believe he thought he'd win, and I'm still glad he did.

Given your history it is VERY important to have a question to start the conversation

especially given the load of questionable opinions you laid out.

I agree 100% that Trump, NEVER thought he would win, and I also think he was TRYING TO lose but he picked up so much momentum he couldnt slow it down.. i think he threw his name out there as a goof and then realized, OMG, everyone else is so bad on the Repub side, I could win the nomination..

It is the politicians who are to blame. Dems and 7 Republicans

The Dems built the thing to force every American to by insurance, ad loaded the 5itch with dozens of ways to reap more money with extra charges for people who didn't need top buy maternity medical policies.

Trump is the guy trying to close it down and start over.  The politicans are responsibile for the change not the President.  He is sitting in the Catbird seat. They Pass a health bill and he will sign it.

The fools are the Democrats who cling to Hillarys Policies. Higher Taxes, Tighter Regulations, $15.00 an hour for hamburger flippers, putting miners out of work. Makie regulations so convoluleted and business tax so effen high, business went over seas.

President Trump has proven that American Companies and other nations companies will come running to produce their products here.  The Janesville WI Electronics Factory Has started interviewing and training individuals there to staff the factory.  Beginning wage was announced on the % last night. $54,000.00 a year. $1125.00 a week
