Not having some kind of repeal plan, or replacement plan, or some kind of plan agreed upon in advance of the Presidential election is a failure of the Party. The WSJ described it as a "monumental whiff." Ryan came in as Speaker under tough circumstances, yet the House got something to forward to the Senate; yet McConnell couldn't get it done, despite his reputation as the consummate Master of Deals. I'm surprised that Ryan and McConnell couldn't come up with some pork to bribe a few Democrats into agreement. The GOP is seriously fractured. Why does the GOP need to have a replacement? So they had no plan. No excuse. The Reps should have had a plan ready to go for years. They deserve a huge hit, and to have some people replaced, for not being ready. BrianBM
Maybe so they could have agreed on something when they had a chance to repeal, or replace, or Do Something (Anything) about Obamacare? Ya think?

BrianBM
It also helps a lot if you fire anyone pursuing a line of questions that you don't want to see answered. It also improves a good deal if your son, son-in-lwa, and campaign manager, having denied vehemently any contacts with Russia, suddenly have to admit having leaped at the opportunity to work with Russian intelligence for help in the election.
