Fluke jigging rod input

I'm looking for a new spinning rod for nj fluke jigging, mostly off party boats. I imagine the heaviest this rod would see would be a 3oz jig. I want it to have good backbone with a slightly softer tip.

So far the capt neil maximizer sb843 looks decent, but I hate buying a rod without holding it first. If anyone has that particular rod and can give it a thumbs up or down I'd like to hear it. OR, if there's a blank you like that you love for that style fishing, please tell. Probably going to get a rod wrapped, but not against an " off the shelf" rod.

ROdgeeks C2SW70MF. I've built a bunch of these for guys fishing in the Sound, as well as South Shore both ocean and bay, 3/4oz - 3oz is what the rod actually handles for FLuke BT. I think I have one of the blanks in stock here, teh price is $70, andif teh blank  is painted it's $15.
