I have not noticed a lot of fish in the 27" to 30" range, I'd say one out of ten or twenty but I haven't thrown bait yet. Lots of 20" to 25" fish. I do fish almost everyday though. Given the right conditions it's possible to get several fish keeper size or bigger but it's not light out on keepers.

agree, ya cant just show up and expect legal sized fish every time out, have to work for them in the right spots. Otoh there are enough schoolies arnd to reasonably expect getting a few on any given outing without a huge amt of effort.

good action for 2 hrs this morning then it shut off completely for us at 8:30am but no 40" plus fish. Found fish pushing pogies but nothing large. Might be trying for tuna tomorrow instead.

Beaches have been good. Fish size changes daily but the Macs have been producing fresh or frozen . Only been skunked 5 times this year in about 50 trips since may4th.

I agree. I have been getting fish on frozen macs without a problem.

I have been using mac chunks exclusively. Will switch over to clams at some point.

I had never used macs much in the past but my buddy wanted to try something different other than worms n clams. I am just surprised how well they stay on the hook.
