Bassmaster Needle ID?

17 posts in this topic

I found this older plug in my dad's basement. He said it was a bass master and wants me to sell it. Thoughts on if he's correct and value?

To be honest I am not sure what a grommet is. It is approximately 7 inches long if that helps

I don't think Dave made a lot of pink needles.  I had to dig deep into my vault to find these.

Shows a early doll eye, his more typical eye and the smaller eye. He also had some tiny pin eyes that are really amazing looking.

All of his needles have small grommets in the nose.  Most time he had many turns on the tail loop.

I don't think he sunk the eyes as much as in yours.

The needle tapers but then gets slightly wider at the nose.  Yours has a more pronounced taper.

Interesting. The eyes do look different now that you mention it. And yes mine does not have a grommet on the nose as well. So since it doesn't appear to be a bassmaster, any thoughts on who made it? Thanks for your help!
