1 Bass Every Month

So I was doing very well late fall with holdover bass and thought to myself "Why stop fishing because it's cold? Why not stick it out and try to get at least 1 bass every month" well so far January was a success and I just got my first two bass of February tonight. So I would say this little 2017 challenge is off to a good start and has been a fun learning experience. Well 10 more months to go wish me luck ;-)

Just under sized

Joey with patients and luck you may well have an goal you can accomplish . It may mean a little driving and a different approach to how you fish for them , but it can be done. Should you get into a month where you find it a little harder, give a shout here perhaps some advice would encourage your pursuit of your quest. It may not always be with artificial s or bait, so keep your thoughts open   to change . By being flexible you will also be more successful in the end

Thanks for the kind words everyone!This is the pic of the only striped bass I caught in January (wasn't able to go much). I also got my first largemouth of 2017 that day as well.
