· #4 Posted December 28, 2016 Hi all, I was thinking about the 2017 fishing season and was wondering if any of you know of any hotspots for big stripers? Thanks, saltyfishing Of course, I will send you my journal kept since 1982 and highlight the entries where the "hotspots" will be disclosed. Disclaimer, of course, past results are no guarantee of future results. Sorry for the sarcasm, but other than well known areas that big stripers are consistently taken (there are many books disclosing such areas), it is unlikely folks will disclose their personal haunts. Especially to thousands of internet viewers. Good luck in the game. 0 Go to top
· #5 Posted December 28, 2016 Best advice I can give you is to fish 1 or 2 beaches closest to you and learn them. Fish at different stages of the tide and different wind conditions. You'll develop your own "hot spots" by doing so.....good luck and enjoy the hunt 0 Go to top

· #8 Posted May 22, 2017 I think we were all like this, asking these kind of questions when we first started fishing. OP it's more rewarding when you put the time in, and find your own spots that hold fish. No offense, this is the wrong place to make a post like this. Anyways good luck this season. 0 Go to top
