Hey Slacker,

Can you give me some options on some star drag reels I can pair with it? Note, I'll be using this setup for fluke and togs from 50-80ft deep. Spending range 250-350.

The 7030 is a great all around inshore rod, actually my favorite..  I never used the 7650, so can't comment on it.

I have a 7030C  (not CT, which has a little more backbone, I think) and a Bogan E-glass tog rod.  I far prefer the lami; the Bogan rod is just slower than I like.  Bogan would have all kinds of reasons I'm wrong, but that's the way it is.  To give the Bogan rod its due, it is a much more rugged stick.
