Wow they're huge. Nice fish too! I made a needle that's over 10" but it's only about 4 oz. Are you using a telephone pole to throw those things? LOL

have a few telephone poles in my rod arsenal..

Think i have a pair of big jointed pikies you did years ago thats where i got into the big plugs. Edited by scottyrich

I have an S7 I built last year for throwing big plugs and bait. Built it spinner with Fuji k frames to match to a sustain 10k. Rated 6-10oz. and it throws every part of the weight range even down to 4.75-5oz plugs. A lot of bigger plugs I make are in that 5-7oz range with a couple monsters pushing 8.5-9oz. and a big ol stripercrazy pikie. The rod handles the bigger plugs like a dream. For its payload rating its not really a telephone pole at all.

1 done and ready for final epoxy, 10 more to go. 5 are ready for foil in the morning and the other 5 are foiled and ready for paint. As per the guidelines of the swap they are all going to be painted the same, they'll all be done using the same colors but due to the marbling process each will have its own unique look. Kind of a crappy picture since it was inside but the group photo will be done outside when they're all ready. Hope you guys like them. post-39587-0-11617300-1486698840.jpgpost-39587-0-53710400-1486698870.jpgpost-39587-0-17514200-1486698882.jpg

They all are great John. My patterns are ending up in white or the bunker zone. When I try to do too much they get a spot on them and they become bunker. Those are great patterns on yours.
