Got back from the beach a few minutes ago. Monmouth County, out front. Fished for an hour and a half. Nada. Water was surprisingly clear, considering the low pressure that went by. Waves are big and slamming the end of the jetty. Birds were working about 1/2 mile out. None of them in close. Anybody going out tonight be careful. Strong rip and big waves.

Got out front in OC this morning. Stinging rain blowing hard to the south. Caught my first legal striper of the season on a SS little neck swimmer. Saw several shorts caught on Bucktails in the surf. Overall, not a bad day.

Same huge breakers in Northern OC, middle o the incoming this evening. Water wasn't clean, but brown with lots of foam.

Top of the outgoing in oc. Took a walk for about an hour tossing bucktails in the whitewater. Been carrying the skunk around the last 5 trips or so. More of the same tonite. Water was a little stained. No wind. Big moon.
