Okay so I've tried searching both SOL and the rest of the endless internet an still cannot find anything on how to paint a lure gasoline.

I want to reprint some old lures and some of my new blank wooden lures in the gasoline paint style but just cannot find anything on this paint job.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I use the following, all spray paints

Metallic flake green by testors

Metallic flake purple by testors

Metallic gold by krylon

Metallic blue by testors

I spray from a distance in random patterns, switching from one color to the next

And when I do the epoxy I add more pearls usually green or gold

By far the best color on a plug, nice work Chris..I have always wondered how it was applied...Thanks for the tips...

Thanks, that one is my subtle, I did a few of my wadd style needles in gasoline this year and the colors are little brighter, done on purpose. You can do whatever you'd like, the shape of the plug also changes the color reflection
