Trying some new lines for me,  Yo-Zuri braid on a Fathom 12 as well as Crystal 10lb on a 1000 spinner. Man the crystal trimmed easily with my knife, makes me nervous vs Invisicast/832.

Fireline Crystal 10 is a hair stronger than Spiderwire Invisibraid Ultracast 10 lbs and last much longer. It's also a hair thicker.

Any impact of wet line vs dry?

Worn line seems to absorb water but it still floats. New braid, wet or dry, has no impact on ABS. Never tested the KBS wet vs dry but since it doesn't seem to absorb water, I don't think it does.

How is the PP SS V2 with the FG Knot?

I got 300 yards of 10lb for 50% at Cabelas, ended up costing me like $18

I wish you would have tested 30lb PP V2 superslick using a double palomar.  I tested 20lb PP V2 superslick with a double palomar and got a  24.5lb average.

That sounds about right for Palomar. I'm guessing the ABS of the 20 lb PP V2 SS is about 35-38 lbs. So you are getting 65-70% which is about par for twice thru palomar knot in braid.

I have been using j braid x8 grand on my fluke and seabass rig and I find it very hard to break when snagged. Excellent feel and seems very strong out of the box over regular x8.

It's coated so it does wear out. I got a sample to fish with. 250 yds is on the Stradic FL but I haven't used it long enough to tell you how well the line is holding up.

Its one of the better braids IMO, I've used quite a few.

The coating does wear off over time but it takes longer then most and stays pretty clean.
