Fish kebab - Last night creation..

I thought a kebab was food cooked on a skewer?

i have done it that way. i have these two prong skewers they work well and the fish stays on and there easy to turn

In some countries kebab is ground meat mixed with other ingredients and bbqed on a skewer. Shish kebab is marinated chunks of meat bbqed on a skewer...In US you will find on menus the kebab being translated to Kafta..Here is a menu from a restaurant..noticethe shish-kabab and kofta-kabab..(The origin is shishlik and kabab)

A kebab is a kebab, on skewer or not. Kofta is a Turkish word for kebab. And shishlik is meat bbqd on a skewer usually with onion, pepper, and tomatoe between every piece of meat.

 

That fish kebab looks tasty I'm going to make some.

Best kebabs I ever had were wahoo in Costa Rica. Oh I wish I were back there. Memories lol.....
